Hola Arco Community!
Please join us for our third annual lotería (Mexican bingo) night in the gym on Friday, March 13th from 6-9pm. Please RSVP using the attached google form to let us know you’ll be coming. We will be capping the event at 200 people.  This event takes many hands to run smoothly. Please consider signing up for one of our many volunteer opportunities on VicNet to help support this community event. We have made the shifts shorter, so you will have plenty of time to enjoy the event with your family.

🎉 Host a Fundraising Party!

We need Arco Iris parents like you to help us raise funds for our school by hosting themed parties! Hosting is a fun and impactful way to contribute—plus, you get to plan something exciting that brings our community together.
As a host, you choose everything:
  • The theme of your party - past favorites include game nights, backyard BBQs, wine tastings, movie nights, and more
  • The date and time - your party can happen this summer or even next school year
  • The location - your home, a park, or another space
  • The guest count – whatever feels comfortable for you
  •
Hosts cover the cost of their party, and Arco Iris handles ticket sales. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to the Arco Iris School Gap Fund.

Interested in hosting or co-hosting? Fill out the Fundraising Party Form by 3/27/26!
Not ready to host on your own? No problem. Some parents are planning amazing events but need a space — if you’re willing to share your home or yard, or want to co-host, let us know through the form. Teaming up makes it even more fun.
💬Want to learn more?
Join us at the PTO meeting on 3/12/26, where past hosts will share tips, ideas, and what hosting looks like.
And if you're curious but would love a clearer picture before committing, we’ve got you covered...
💌 I’ll be hosting a Mock Fundraising Party Info Session on March 20th at 4pm at the Beaverton City Library specifically for parents interested in hosting. This isn’t a general social event — it’s a relaxed, behind-the-scenes walkthrough of how fundraising parties work.
We’ll cover:
·       How the structure works from start to finish
·       Budgeting and setting ticket prices
·       Timelines and planning tips
·       Creative theme ideas
·       How Arco Iris supports you along the way
There will be quiet, kid-friendly activities available so you can focus while little ones stay busy. Snack and drinks will be provided. Whether you’ve already signed up or you’re just exploring the idea, this session is designed to help you feel confident and inspired to host.
And if hosting isn’t the right fit for you this year, that’s okay too! Keep an eye out for invitations to attend these amazing parties — joining in the fun is another wonderful way to support Arco Iris and our School Gap Fund.
We can’t wait to see the creativity our community brings — and we’re so grateful for your support of Arco Iris!
Sincerely,
Auction Team

 VicNet Registration

  • The school uses the VicNet/Volgistics platform for all volunteer opportunities throughout the year so please make sure you are signed up.
  • New families make sure you’ve completed the Volgistics Volunteer application form and complete the background check. The background check will be sent to you a few days after your application was submitted. This will come from Verified First so make sure you’re looking for that message.
  • Current families please make sure you fill out the updated volunteer expectation form if you haven’t already so you’re able to volunteer. Openings won’t appear on VicNet until you have completed this.
  • It’s important to sign up for an account even if you’re not planning to come in as sometimes opportunities pop up that you are able to help with and it’s important to have this done before hand as the verification process can take up to a few weeks to complete and we don’t want you to miss out on anything.
  • Many teachers allow parents to come in as a “Mystery Reader” for their child’s birthday. You WILL need to be registered on VicNet and have completed the background check to participate in this!!
