Volunteer Openings for 2019-2020

We NEED Volunteers! It takes an army of volunteers to make this school amazing and we need your help! We have lots of different volunteer opportunities available for this coming school year with varying levels of time commitment. Many can be done from home or wherever you have a computer. If you are interested in helping with any of these positions or have any additional questions, please email us at Many of these great programs and events will not continue unless we get enough volunteers to support them.

PTO Officer of Fundraising- We are looking for a PTO Officer over Fundraising. They would help coordinate raising enough funds for our school, offer support at our major fundraisers (Jogathon and Auction), and help manage the website Greater Giving. Fundraising Lead must be able to attend monthly PTO board meetings and fundraising events. This position is for the whole school year.

PTO Co-Volunteer Coordinator-We are looking for a 4th PTO Jr Volunteer Coordinator to help support all the volunteer efforts at our school. Responsibilities include helping parents receive clearance to volunteer, tracking all cleared volunteers and their hours, posting volunteer opportunities on Parentbooker, organizing and supporting staff appreciation events (teacher appreciation week/ Parent teacher conference meals/stock the break room), and recruiting and supporting room parents. These responsibilities will be shared with the other 3 returning Volunteer Coordinators. This volunteer position can be done almost entirely from home (or wherever you have a computer). We are looking for a 4th as JR on the team who will ideally train over the year and be a SR volunteer coordinator the following year (2-year commitment).

After School Enrichment Lead-We need someone to coordinate our after school enrichment activities. Responsibilities include contacting potential programs about offering classes at our school, scheduling days and rooms, and organizing student sign up for activities. This is an all year commitment. Most of the organizing can be done from home.

Oregon Battle of the Books Middle School Coordinator-We are looking for someone to organize OBOB for our middle school students. Responsibilities include organizing teams and coaches and setting up battles (scheduling battles and recruiting volunteers). OBOB is a January-March commitment.
