There are lots of ways to get involved!

4th Grade Stock the Breakroom: Tuesday, October 1st
3rd Grade Stock the Breakroom: Tuesday, November 5th
Let's go 3rd and 4th grade families! On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 4th grade families can bring items, and on Tuesday, November 5th, 3rd grade families can bring items, and earn 1 volunteer hour per $10 for your items to help stock the break room for our fabulous teachers. Sign up on VicNet to see what items are needed!

Restaurant Night
The October Restaurant Night is scheduled for Thursday, October 3rd, at the Mod Pizza next to Whole Foods. This is an all day event.  

Please mention the fundraiser when ordering in person and please use code “MODGIVES25” when ordering online or through the app. If the weather is nice, Mod has a great outdoor patio to eat outside.  Please be advised that 25% of all proceeds will be donated back to Arco Iris. Thank you for supporting Arco Iris!

We hope to see you on Friday, October 4th and Friday, November 1st, at 8:35am, after drop off, in the gym, for our English Coffee with the Director.

Come to ask questions, get to know other families, or just to hang out.

Walk + Roll to School Day

International Walk + Roll to School Day is this Wednesday! Make a plan ​now for how your family will participate: coordinate with a friend for a ​walk to school, ride bikes as a family. Choosing to walk, bike, and bus ​to school is one of the biggest ways students can help the planet, it's a ​great way to start the day, and it also happens to be really FUN!

Día de Caminar y Rodar a la Escuela

¡El día internacional de caminar y rodar a la escuela es este miércoles! ​Haz un plan ahora sobre cómo participará tu familia: coordina con un ​amigo para caminar a la escuela, monta bicicletas en familia. Elegir caminar, ​montar bicicleta y tomar el bus a la escuela es una de las mayores ​formas en que los estudiantes pueden ayudar al planeta, es una ​excelente manera de comenzar el día y también resulta ser muy divertido.

Oct. 31: Book Character Day - Dress up as your favorite book character!

Thursday, Oct. 31st is Character Dress Up Day : Costumes must be school appropriate, no weapons, no blood, no full costume mask covering face or promote any type of violence. As per the dress code, costumes should not be revealing, and should be comfortable for students to wear all day.

31 de octubre: Día del personaje del libro: ¡disfrázate como tu personaje de libro favorito!

El jueves 31 de octubre es el día de disfraces de personajes: los disfraces deben ser apropiados para la escuela, sin armas, sin sangre, sin máscara completa que cubra la cara ni promuevan ningún tipo de violencia. Según el código de vestimenta, los disfraces no deben ser reveladores y deben ser cómodos para que los estudiantes los usen todo el día.

Send your student in their school uniforms and get them ready for PICTURE RETAKE DAY on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.

Attend multiple school events and date each paw! 
 
If all 20 jaguar paws get dates, send your name and photo of card to the PTO to be entered in a raffle to win a prize! 
 
These events count toward completing your Jaguar Card. Please WRITE the DATE you participated on each paw print.

When all 20 jaguar paw prints get dates, send a photo of your completed card and your name 
to the PTO at [email protected] to be entered into a raffle to win a prize! Cards are due by May 16, 2025. (We are using the honor system)

¡Asiste a múltiples eventos escolares y sal con cada pata!

 

Si las 20 patas de jaguar tienen fechas, envíe su nombre y foto de tarjeta al PTO para participar en una rifa para ganar un premio.

 

Estos eventos cuentan para completar tu tarjeta Jaguar. Por favor, ESCRIBA la FECHA en que participó en cada huella de pata.

  • Noche de Restaurante

Cuando las 20 huellas de patas de jaguar obtengan fechas, envíe una foto de su tarjeta completa y su nombre al PTO  en [email protected] para  participar en una rifa para ganar un premio. Las tarjetas vencen antes del 16 de mayo de 2025. (Estamos usando el sistema de honor)
