Mission Statement

Mission Statement

The mission of Arco Iris is to offer a rigorous education that includes Spanish immersion and Singapore Math, a mathematical curriculum, that will improve outcomes for all our students, including those who are historically and educationally under served students, with the goal of reducing and eliminating achievement and opportunity gaps, allowing the entire student population to be responsible citizens and lifelong learners with strong values.

2018 Executive Director Search

The Arco Iris School Board of Directors invites the community to a meeting at Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School located at 13600 SW Allen Blvd, Beaverton, OR 97005 in the technology room on the following schedule:

November 28, 2018 Wednesday at 3:30pm

The purpose for the meeting is to gather information from the community for the executive director search about the desired qualities for a new executive director who will begin employment July 1, 2019.

Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School Book Fair!

It's time for the Book Fair!! Come check out the wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level, in both English and Spanish, and all purchases benefit our school!

Oregon Battle of the Books

It's time to sign up for Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB)!

OBOB is a fun competition sponsored by the Oregon Association of School Libraries that encourages reading enjoyment, reading comprehension, and cooperative learning. Students compete in two divisions (3rd-5th grade and 6th-8th grade) in teams of 4 (with optional alternate) answering questions in a battle format about 16 books. Arco Iris Lego Robotics

Our two teams that represented Arco Iris at the state competition did very well!. Both teams qualified for state by competing, and winning,a regional competition. The Dynamic Dymonds made it to the quarter finals and The Sturdables won 2nd place Textronix Inspiration Award! Congratulations!
