We take math seriously at Arco Iris. Adopting the Singapore Math curriculum was a key component to our charter agreement with Beaverton School District. Singapore Math is used in grades 1-5.

Why is Singapore Math so successful with students? There are many reasons – the students like it, concepts are taught in concrete and pictorial ways, and it establishes and reinforces a foundation of mathematical knowledge – in numbers AND in story problems.
