About BDBT

At the end of the school day, children find a place to practice conversational Spanish through creative expression, guided learning and self-directed play in our program.  We offer a comfortable, safe, and fun after-school program operated by experienced and nurturing staff who will direct children’s play through recreational play, speaking and listening activities, arts and crafts, and storytelling. All activities will be conducted in Spanish and will correspond to school themes, holidays, and celebrations.

At our before-school program, which runs every school day from 7:00 a.m. to the start of the school day, children will be provided with a healthy snack and will be able to read, chat, and play games.  This way they will ease into and be ready for the day ahead. At our after school program, Buenas Tardes, which runs from the end of the school day until 5:30 p.m., kids will be provided a Spanish immersion enrichment program through a peaceful, pleasant environment in which to work on art projects, enjoy free reading, and creative writing; have time for self-directed play; eat a healthy snack; and learn new activities in a relaxed, guided setting.  These activities will be taught and experienced through songs, puppet shows, dancing, teacher-led outdoor games, and other fun formats, which make the Spanish language come alive and seem effortless. Our enrichment activities will be conducted in Spanish and will be planned to correspond with school themes and holidays.
