We get it. Life happens and sometimes you have to move right before school starts. Which begs the question, is it too late to enroll at a charter school like Arco Iris, if you’ve missed the open enrollment period? Fear not! You can and are encouraged to enroll at our K-5 tuition-free charter school in Beaverton, Oregon for the 2025-26 school year. To help you get on your way, we’re sharing the answers to some of our most asked questions about the enrollment process below.
How Do I Enroll as a New Student at Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School?
In order to indicate your interest, please submit the waitlist form that is used as an application. Complete this form and click "SUBMIT" at the bottom of the third page to be considered for enrollment. If you have more than one child enrolling, please complete this form for each child.
Once we have determined if a spot is available for your child, we will send you forms to review and sign. If your child is accepted, you will receive a welcome packet along with an enrollment application and records transfer request.
The enrollment application is your final step in the enrollment process. Because we are nearing the beginning of the school year, please return the paperwork to Arco Iris within 2 calendar days, unless otherwise noted. If we do not receive your forms in completion, your child’s space will be vacated and offered to the next student on the waitlist.
What If My Child Is Waitlisted?
If your child is Arco Iris, you will receive your waitlist status and be notified as spaces become available. Families offered a position will have 2 calendar days (when the school office is open) to confirm their intent to attend. Arco Iris will attempt to notify families who are in the first position on the waitlist so that they may be sure to have correct contact information, potentially through multiple channels, on file.
