October - Soccer
October is Soccer Month!!
During our Soccer unit, we will be focusing mainly on the fundamentals. Throughout the month we will be playing various types of games that will bring students together to work as a team and incorporate a variety of skills used in the game of soccer. These skills include, shooting, passing, and ball control.
Every day before class we will have a 10-15 minute warm-up. This is a quick way to prepare the body for exercise by loosening up the joints and increasing blood flow to the muscles.
Each class has the chance to earn a choice day at the end of each month through good behavior. This will give students the opportunity to vote as a class on any game of their choosing. Choice day takes place on the last P.E. class day of every month.
