My name is Sarahi Vega. I have been teaching for 32 years. I have taught Science, Math, Spanish, Social Sciences, and Health at all levels. I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1965. I have worked in public and private schools around the island. I completed an Education Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Math and Science. The 2014-2015 was my first school year at Arco Iris. I love teaching and enjoy the time that I spend with my students.
When I am not teaching I like to ...
- Talk to my mom in Puerto Rico
- Spend quality time with my grandkids
- Spend time with my husband traveling Oregon
I have been married to Maestro Miletti for 27 years. Sariyoan Miletti is our only daughter. We have two grandkids: Sophia (6) and Seba (4).
I believe that you need to enter the classroom with only the highest of expectations for each and all of your students. I believe that you have to maximize their potential with dedication, patience, perseverance, and hard work. I believe in learning styles. I owe to my student's respect. Also, I have the responsibility to model, to guide, and to prepare them to be good citizens, able to live in an active and productive society.
