Christa Billings
 

Christa works in the International Trade Field dealing with US Customs regulations, at Columbia Sportswear.  She previously served as Vice President on the School Board and also served on the Arco Iris PTO, as the Treasurer and Fundraising VP.  Her professional work experience in finance and the finance of our PTO makes her a great asset to the board as a finance member. She comes to us with 8 years of previous non-profit organization experience.  She previously served as President and other various board positions at an international non-profit organization.  Christa and her husband Brock have 3 children that previously attended Arco Iris.

Yessenia Jones
 

Yessenia is the Project Administration Manager for North America Real Estate Store Construction at Nike. Her previous work was over a decade in banking with experience in Branch Banking and Business Lending. 

 

Yessenia previously served as the school’s PTO President from 2019-2022, and in 2018 was the Cultural Enrichment Coordinator. Her passion for school community building and engagement brought her to the school board. She also serves on the board of Rebuilding Together Washington County and the King City Lions Club. 

 

Yessenia and her husband Alex have three boys- a middle school son who previously attend Arco Iris, a son at Arco Iris and a new addition they welcomed in 2021.  They also have a Great Dane named Thor. Their family enjoys being outside on a baseball field when the weather is nice, or enjoying a basketball game - the boys sports keep them busy. They also enjoy trying new restaurants and all things Disney.

Andrew is an Operations Program Manager at a leading aerospace and defense company. He has an MBA in Finance from PSU and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from RPI. His previous volunteer activities include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Lincoln Youth Football and Portland State University's Graduate Business Alumni Council.  He has a daughter and son attending Arco Iris. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys watching sports, golfing, and spending time with his wife and kids.

 Sarah Zephirin

Sarah is a Professional School Counselor who has worked as a public educator in Oregon for over 15 years.  She currently works at an elementary school in the Hillsboro School District and is passionate about creating school environments that support the whole child. Sarah and her husband Greg have two sons--a student at Arco and new baby born in January 2021.  Their family enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and cheering for Wisconsin sports teams. Sarah is excited for this opportunity to contribute to the Arco Iris community.

Erin Hatch
 

Erin has a Master's in Public Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Music, and a love for all things community.  She has served as a secretary for the Friends of the Utah County Children's Justice Center, Vice President for the Portland Choir and Orchestra, and PTO Secretary on the Arco Iris PTO.  Erin and her husband Steve have five children, the oldest three attending Arco Iris so far.

Adreana Kusaba

Adreana

 

Adreana, MPH, CPH is a Lead Project Coordinator with the Department of Family Medicine, Scappoose at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). She has a Master’s degree in Public Health with an emphasis in management and policy.  Both professionally and personally, Adreana dedicates her volunteer activities to community engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion. Prior to her position at OHSU, Adreana worked at Stanford University as a Coordinator for the Center for Health Policy and Primary Care Outcomes Research (CHP/PCOR) and has served on various other committees. In her spare time, Adreana enjoys going to the farmer's market, kayaking, and snowboarding with her spouse and daughter.

The Board email is monitored by the board chair, whom will respond to you, or route your question to the most appropriate board member for review. Responses will be made either directly or through community message within 2-5 business days. You are also welcome to attend monthly board meetings and speak during public comment on items listed on the agenda.
